This ride is conducted under the Cape Fear Cyclists COVID ride rules, please review prior to the ride and follow them..


Please sign the new CFC liability waiver and bring it to the ride.

Monitor the CFC Slack channel “Saturday-am-ride-schedule” before the ride for last minute info or cancelation.  (If the forecast includes temps below 38 F, wind chill down to 32
or rain or wet roads.)  Ride leader will cancel via Slack at least one hour prior if conditions are bad.  



Meet at Johnson's Grocer (located at the Hwy 421/210 intersection). The 60 / 51 mile ride will roll out promptly at 8 am. There are store stops approximately at the 33, and 44 mile marks. 

There will usually be three pace groups.  The “Fast” or A Group riding at an average pace of 18+mph, the “Strong” or B Group riding at an average pace of 16-17mph, and the “Moderate” or C Group riding at an average pace of 14-15mph. 

You are responsible for printing your own copy of the map for this ride.

 Everyone needs to plan on arriving 15 minutes before the ride is scheduled to ROLL OUT.

If the temperature at the start time is below 32 degrees or there is a steady rain, the ride is canceled


First-time guest riders are welcome. If you enjoy the experience, we encourage you to Join Us or pick up a membership form at a local bike shop! Your membership not only supports the club and cycling advocacy but also extends insurance coverage to you on club rides and entitles you to discounts at local bike shops. 

E-bike riders must have approval prior to the ride by the ride leader. Only Class 1 (pedal assist mode only) e-bikes are allowed on routes. No e-bike motor pacing the front of a pace line. The ride leader reserves the right to ask the cyclist to stay at the rear or leave the group if the e-bike is not being safely operated, as with any unsafe cyclist.  E-Bike classifications
