Monitor the CFC Slack channel “saturday-am-ride-schedule” before the ride for last minute info or cancelation.  (If the forecast includes temps below 38 F, wind chill down to 32 or rain or wet roads.)  Ride leader will cancel via Slack at least one hour prior if conditions are bad.

Pace: This is a Fun in the Sun stay together ride. The pace will be 12-17 mph and all riders must be able to ride this pace to keep everyone together.  Come out, meet new people and enjoy good conversation while riding.

We will meet at Waterline Brewery parking lot. The ride (30miles) will include Greenfield Lake, Halyburton, Wade, Empie Parks. Also we will be cycling on the CCT & Echo Farms. Near the end of the ride we will visit Ironclad Brewery and Waterline Brewery. We will visit the Orange St. Underground RR Historic site on the Cape Fear River.  This ride was last led by Michael Asselta (RIP) during 2020 Black History Month

You are responsible for printing your own copy of the map for this ride. Do not expect the ride leader to provide any at the start of the ride. If you do not have facilities to accomplish this then email a request to the ride leader to possibly make one for you.
