Ad-Hoc and Alternate Ride

Ride Description :
An alternate ride from Halyburton to the Marine Science Center Open House (once per year), where we can see the coral, jellyfish, Shellfish Research Hatchery and oceanographic instrumentation (buoys). The route there is 16 miles.
The 7 mile route back goes to the Ashley backwards route. Where we ride a block in the right turn lane to Mohican trail, we continue 1 more block to a U-turn left lane to get across College. Then via St Andrews to the Pointe food court, and back to the start via cross city trail.

Ride Instructions & Rules:
- Please sign the new CFC liability waiver when you arrive at the ride.
- Please arrive to the ride start location at least 15 minutes prior to the ride start time.
- Please visit www.capefearcyclists.org and review CFC ride policies.
- If the forecast includes temperatures below 38 F, wind chill down to 32 F, or rain/wet roads at the start time, the ride will be cancelled. (Monitor the Slack – ad-hoc channel)
