Annual River to Sea Ride

Ride Description:
Registration for the 2021 River to Sea Bike Ride is now open!
The 31st Annual The River To Sea Bike Ride will take place Saturday October 16, 2021. This event is a 20-mile bike ride along the historic route of the Wilmington Beach Car Line from downtown Wilmington to Wrightsville Beach and back. There is no cost to participate but t-shirts are available for purchase for $15 until September 17th. Each participant must register individually.
For the safety of all riders, registration will be capped at 500. Day-of registration will have a $5, exact change only, fee.

Ride Instructions & Rules:
- This ride is conducted under the Cape Fear Cyclists COVID ride rules, please review prior to the ride and follow them
- Please sign the new CFC liability waiver and bring it to the ride.
- CFC typically supports this event that has seen 500 participants in the past. Please wear your CFC jersey. Arrive by 6:15 am to support a 7:00 am start.
- Please visit www.capefearcyclists.org and review CFC ride policies.
- If the temperature at start time is below 32 degrees or there is steady rain, the ride will be canceled.

Ride Parking:
The ride start location is at 12 N Front St. (Bailey Theater Park). Attention: Cars with rack carries please be careful if you decide to park in a local parking garage.

First time riders are welcome. If you enjoy the experience, pick up a membership from at your local bike shop or visit www.capefearcyclists.org for instructions on joining the club. Membership not only supports the club and cycling advocacy, it extends insurance coverage to you on club rides.
